At Live Magnets Co., we believe your memories are personal, and so is your information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you visit livemagnetsco.com, order custom photo magnets, or book us for an event, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we use your information to serve you, and we do not sell it.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Event inquiries. When you submit our event intake form, we collect your name, email, phone number, company or organization, event type, date, time and duration, expected guest count, budget range, how you heard about us, venue details, technical details about the venue, the services you are interested in, and any notes you add.
• Referral details. If you tell us who referred you, we collect that person's name and, if you share it, their phone number.
• Messages. Emails and messages you send us, including through Instagram.
• Online orders. When you order custom photo magnets, our online store, powered by Shopify, collects your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, payment details, and the photos you upload. We never see or store your full card number.
• Event photos. Photos that you or your guests choose or share at our station so that we can print magnets.

Information collected automatically

Our website does not currently use analytics tools, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. Our web host may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running. Our online store uses cookies that are needed for your cart and checkout. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To answer your questions, check availability, and prepare your proposal.
• To schedule, set up, and run your event, and to print your guests' magnets.
• To make, ship, and support your online orders.
• To take payments, send invoices and receipts, and keep our business records.
• To thank the people who send customers our way, including referral thank-yous and bonuses.
• To feature photos or video from your event in our marketing, only if you have agreed to it.
• To keep our website secure and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

We will only send you promotional emails if you have asked to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Referral Information

If you share the name or phone number of the person who referred you, we use it only to reach out and thank them, and to track referral bonuses. Please share contact details only for someone who is comfortable with you doing so. If you are the person who was named and would like your details removed, email us and we will take care of it.

4. Photos From Your Event

We use photos shared at our station only to print magnets for your event, and to deliver them to you if you have added digital delivery. We keep them only as long as needed to complete your event and handle any follow-up, and then we delete them. We do not use photos or video from your event for our own marketing unless you agree to it ahead of time. If you agree, you can ask us to remove them at any time.

5. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with trusted services that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do their job:

• Shopify, which runs our online store, processes payments, and manages orders. Their handling of your data is described in the store's privacy policy.
• Formspree, which securely delivers the event intake form to us.
• Google, which provides our business email.
• Our web hosting provider, which keeps this website online.
• Payment apps and processors we use to collect event payments.
• Shipping carriers, which deliver online orders.
• The photo software we use at events to receive photos from guests for printing.
• Social media platforms, if you have agreed to let us share photos or video from your event.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the safety of others.

6. How Long We Keep It

We keep inquiry, booking, and order records for as long as needed to serve you, resolve questions, and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Guest photos are handled as described in section 4. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

7. How We Protect It

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure connections on our website and trusted service providers. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices

You can ask us at any time to share the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and to stop using it for marketing. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, and we are glad to honor reasonable requests wherever you are.

9. Children

Our website and online shop are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our website. At events, photos of children are shared by their families and guests at our station and are handled as described in section 4.

10. Links to Other Sites

Our website links to other sites, such as Instagram, Google, and our Shopify store. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to read them.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make a significant change, we will make it easy to notice on our website.
